Newpong Presents Consumer Device Expansion of Medical Ultrasound Technology at KIMES 2026

Ultrasound medical device specialist Newpong participated in KIMES 2026 (Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show), presenting a product portfolio that demonstrates how ultrasound technology developed in clinical settings extends into consumer devices. Having grown as a company centered on hospital and clinic-grade ultrasound medical devices, Newpong used the exhibition to trace that technology's progression across surgical and therapeutic applications, aesthetic procedures, and now home-use devices.
The two featured clinical devices were Lincurve Pro, a curved HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) system, and LSSA, an ultrasonic fat dissolution device. Lincurve Pro applies the patented Concave Technology™ to conform ultrasound energy delivery to the skin's curved surface, with a focus on improving energy uniformity across treatment sites. LSSA, built around a 0.9 mm-diameter probe, enables selective fat dissolution and is actively used in both aesthetic and surgical applications.
Both devices reflect Newpong's broader approach of extending ultrasound energy control technology across clinical disciplines, from surgical procedures to aesthetic treatments. During the exhibition, detailed treatment protocol consultations were conducted with domestic and international medical practitioners. Newpong also held discussions with Asian regional partners on country-specific distribution structures and product positioning, laying the groundwork for continued global market expansion.
Alongside its clinical lineup, Newpong introduced Lincurve, a home HIFU device built on the same energy-delivery architecture validated in the hospital setting. The device was presented as a concrete example of medical device technology extending into the consumer space.
"Ultrasound energy control technology is a foundational technology that can be expanded across diverse clinical domains," said a Newpong representative. "We plan to progressively broaden its application range, building on the technology base established through our medical devices."
Newpong intends to continue pursuing global markets with a product expansion structure that spans medical devices to consumer devices, all grounded in its core ultrasound technology platform.
